Wanted is a movie which marks the entry of Prabhu Deva, the much-acclaimed choreographer from the South, into Bollywood. This movie is a remake of the Telugu movie, ‘Pokkiri’, which was directed by Prabhu Deva in Tamil also, with Vijay in the lead. The movie had been a blockbuster hit both in Telugu as well as in Tamil.
Salman plays a hard-core gangster and Ayesha plays a simple girl who has the notion that everything in the world is good. Wanted is produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by choreographer turned actor turned director Prabhu Deva.
On the whole, ‘Salman Khan’ factor will pull the audience to make this film survive. Infact, half the battle is won, courtesy loads of hype. My verdict: One time watch.
